Community Partnerships

DCHS is proud to partner with our community leaders at Chester Made. Chester Made is an initiative to help recognize and promote arts and culture in the City of Chester and to harness its power as a force for community revitalization.

The initiative is part of a collaborative effort to support the Historic Chester Arts and Culture District and the concept of a Chester Cultural Corridor (C3) along Avenue of the States between City Hall and Widener University.  A key goal of Chester Made is to frame the story of Arts and Culture and its place in the life of the city.
DCHS is a member of the Delaware County Arts Consortium, which is a collaborative of arts and culture groups working to advance the economic vitality of the Delaware County arts and culture community, and to promote the value of cultural resources to our local community. To check out the calendar of upcoming events and learn more, visit DelcoArts.org.
DCHS' close partnership with the Sports Legends of Delaware County Museum (SLDC) also known as the Delco Sports Museum, dates back to the founding of SLDC in 2001 and DCHS' move to our current location in downtown Chester. Learn more about the history of the Museum and their extensive collection housed at the Radnor Township Municipal Building at delcosportsmuseum.org or contact Jim Vankoski, curator, at vankoski21@comcast.net.
